 		   		<title>Employment &amp; Unemployment March 13, 2012</title>

 		 <description>
 New Mexico in 2012 has joined a growing number of states that release monthly labor market information on an accelerated schedule. We will publish an initial set of data - National, statewide, and substate labor force estimates and the statewide preliminary job count - nearly a week earlier than in previous years in our Employment News Release. Shortly thereafter, we will issue our more comprehensive Labor Market Review, providing metro area seasonally adjusted unemployment rates, industry data from the employer survey, special articles, and more. Labor market information produced under the federal-state partnership includes some of the timeliest economic indicators available anywhere. We will typically release the previous month's data around the middle of each current month. For January and February 2012 data, however, our release schedule has been slightly modified to accommodate benchmarking, a process for revising the data at the end of each year.

	 	<title>Third Quarter 2011 - Quarterly Census of Emplyment and Wages</title>
	 	<description>
	 	 This publication in PDF format contains quarterly employment and wage data for workers covered by New Mexico Unemployment Insurance (UI) laws (this includes all state and local government workers) and for federal government employees covered by the Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE). Employment data represent the number of workers on the payroll during the pay period including the 12th day of the month. This includes both full-time and part-time workers. Wages represent the gross amount of all payrolls for all pay periods paid within the quarter, regardless of the timing of the services performed. Commissions, bonuses, and overtime pay is included.
