Public Works Hearing Notice

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (“Department”) hereby gives notice that the Department will conduct a public hearing in the auditorium of the State Personnel Office located at 2600 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico on October 30, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.  The purpose of the public hearing will be to obtain input on the adoption of the proposed prevailing wage and fringe benefit rates for public works projects pursuant to 11.1.2.13. NMAC.

Unemployment Insurance Operations Center Closed on Labor Day

(Albuquerque) – All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2015, for Labor Day. The department urges claimants to plan accordingly.

Request for Submission of Collective Bargaining Agreements

(Albuquerque) – The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ Labor Relations Division is preparing to update prevailing wage rates pursuant to the Public Works Minimum Wage Act.  Based on a recent Supreme Court order, new rates must be issued by July 14, 2015.  To facilitate the setting of prevailing wage rates, the Labor Relations Division is requesting that all interested parties submit any collective bargaining agreements relevant to classifications and trades under the Public Works Minimum Wage Act.
