Request for Submission of Collective Bargaining Agreements

(Albuquerque) – The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ Labor Relations Division is preparing to update prevailing wage rates pursuant to the Public Works Minimum Wage Act. Based on a recent Supreme Court order, new rates must be issued by July 14, 2015. To facilitate the setting of prevailing wage rates, the Labor Relations Division is requesting that all interested parties submit any collective bargaining agreements relevant to classifications and trades under the Public Works Minimum Wage Act.

Unemployment Insurance Operations Center Closed on Memorial Day

(Albuquerque) – All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2015 for Memorial Day. The department urges claimants to plan accordingly.

Workforce Solutions Expands Hours of Unemployment Insurance System Availability

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) has extended the hours that the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Tax & Claims System is available for approximately 15,000 claimants and 45,000 employers across the state. The online system will now be available Sunday through Friday from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.
