Why was this letter sent to me?

This letter was sent to inform you that there was an error in your reporting of Employment and Wage Detail records.

What does this letter mean?

Due to the error in your reporting, wages have been posted to the wrong employer account. This letter is informing you that to resolve the error, the Department has transferred the Employment and Wage Detail records as specified in the letter. The changes in the account will lead to a recalculation and possible changes to your tax rate or amount due.

What do I do next?

You should log in to your account online at www.dws.state.nm.us and verify the data as needed.

You are in the process of entering Employment and Wage Detail records on your account online.

You can access your employer account online as well as other claims and tax information at www.dws.state.nm.us.
