Unemployment Insurance Call Center Closed Monday

Automated Toll-Free Phone Options and Website Available

(Albuquerque) - The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions' Unemployment Insurance (UI) call center will be closed Monday, May 28, 2012 in observance of Memorial Day. The department urges claimants to plan accordingly.

The UI claims system website, www.dws.state.nm.us, will be available 3 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily, and the toll-free phone option, 1-877-NM4-MYUI (1-877-664-6984), will be available 24-hours a day for normal self service functions.

NMDWS would like to remind all eligible Unemployment Insurance claimants that Monday, May 28 is a federal holiday. Banking institutions and the US Postal Service will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. This will result in a delay of banking transactions for Unemployment Insurance debit card and direct deposit benefit payment recipients for those certifying on Sunday. This will also result in a delay of mail delivery for a small portion of Unemployment Insurance claimants who receive checks.
