Monday, November 25, 2024 / Categories: Department News Unemployment Insurance Operations Center closed Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System available online All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System (www.jobs.state.nm.us) is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customer Service Agents in the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center will be available when business hours resume on Monday, December 2, at 8:00am. The business hours of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Operations Center are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions would like to remind all eligible Unemployment Insurance claimants that Thursday, November 28, 2024, is a federal holiday. Most banking institutions and the U.S. Postal Service will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving. This may result in a delay of banking transactions for Unemployment Insurance benefits.
