Thursday, June 29, 2023 / Categories: Department News Unemployment Insurance Operations Center closed Tuesday in observance of Independence Day Holiday Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System Available Online All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. The Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System (www.jobs.state.nm.us) is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customer Service Agents in the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center will be available when business hours resume on Wednesday, July 5, at 7:00am. The business hours of the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center are 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions would like to remind all eligible Unemployment Insurance claimants that Tuesday, July 4, 2023, is a federal holiday. Most banking institutions and the U.S. Postal Service will be closed in observance of Independence Day. This may result in a delay of banking transactions for Unemployment Insurance benefits.
