Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) Update:

The last payable week for all federal extensions, referred to as Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) benefits or tiers, ended December 28, 2013. Unless Congress passes another law, no federal extended benefits can be paid for any weeks that you are unemployed following the week ending date of December 28, 2013, even if there is a balance on your federal extension claim. Any Congressional action or updates about federal extensions will be posted on our website. 

Public Works Hearing Notice

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (“Department”) hereby gives notice that the Department will conduct a public hearing in the auditorium of the State Personnel Office located at 2600 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico on March 21, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. The purpose of the public hearing will be to obtain input on the repeal of the following rule: 11.1.3 NMAC and the adoption of the following proposed rule: 11.1.3 NMAC.
