All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

New Mexico’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.3 percent in October 2024, up from 4.2 percent in September and up from 4.0 percent in the previous year. The national unemployment rate in October was 4.1 percent, unchanged from September and up from 3.8 percent in October 2023. Total nonagricultural payroll employment grew by 11,500 jobs, or 1.3 percent, between October 2023 and October 2024.
