Tuesday, October 07, 2025 / Categories: Department News NEWS RELEASE: Unemployment Insurance Operations Center closed Friday afternoon and Monday All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closing at noon, 12:00 p.m., on Friday, October 10 for seasonal observance and closed on Monday, October 13, in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day. The Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System (www.jobs.state.nm.us) is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customer Service Agents in the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center will be available when business hours resume on Tuesday, October 14, at 8:00am. The business hours of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Operations Center are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions would like to remind all eligible Unemployment Insurance claimants that Monday, October 13, 2025, is a federal holiday. Most banking institutions and the U.S. Postal Service will be closed in observance of Labor Day. This may result in a delay of banking transactions for Unemployment Insurance benefits.
