NMDWS Recommends all Mock It Till You Rock It! events be
suspended in the interest of public health

(Albuquerque, NM) – In response to Governor Lujan Grisham’s executive order on COVID-19 the Department of Workforce Solutions recommends to schools across New Mexico, scheduled to host a Mock It Till You Rock It! event, suspend those events in the interest of public health.

The department is committed to ensuring every New Mexican has the skills they need to be prepared, and succeed in obtaining employment. We will work with each school to reschedule their event for a future date.

If you were scheduled to be a volunteer interviewer, please contact the school for further information and guidance.

Our priority during this time is to protect public health by limiting the potential impacts of COVID-19 in New Mexico.

Career Counselors at New Mexico Workforce Connection Centers across the state are available to assist with job search, job referrals and placement, and customized skill development. In an effort to limit public gatherings these services may be accessed by phone or online at www.jobs.state.nm.us.

Contract information for each office may be found at https://www.dws.state.nm.us/en-us/Office-Locations.
