NMDWS provides information for New Mexico workers affected by COVID-19

Secretary Bill McCamley of the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) announced he will be filing an emergency provision to the Unemployment Insurance (UI) rules waiving the work search requirement for affected workers who have lost their job or have had a reduction in hours due to COVID-19.

Human Rights Commission Hearing

The Administrative Law Judge on behalf of the Human Rights Commission will hold a hearing on March  17 & 18, 2020, in Las Vegas, New Mexico at The City of Las Vegas Streets Division Conference room, 1700 N Grand Ave., Las Vegas, New Mexico 87701, beginning at 9:00 AM.

 

NMDWS Organizes Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers Resource Fair

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) organized a resource fair last week for migrant and seasonal farmworkers to provide information on wage laws and career services alongside service providers for health care, education, and legal aid.
