Rapid Hire event planned for recruitment of positions with Children, Youth, and Families Department in Roswell

Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD), in conjunction with the Department of Workforce Solutions, will hold a Rapid Hire event to fill positions in Roswell, New Mexico. The event will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 10am – 3pm at the New Mexico Workforce Connection, 67 University Blvd.

"CYFD provides services focused on strengthening families across the state,” said Cabinet Secretary Designate, Teresa Casados. "We have several levels of positions available, and our rapid hire events are a great way to join the incredible team at CYFD. I encourage everyone to apply and make an impact in the lives of New Mexico’s children, youth, and families.”

Screeners from CYFD will be on-hand to review applicant resumes and conduct interviews with qualified applicants on-site the same day. New Mexico Workforce Connection Career Consultants are available to assist individuals with creating, updating, and printing their resume.

CYFD is hiring for several entry level, senior and supervisor positions including Child Protective Services Placement workers, Investigation Case Worker, Planning Case Worker, Permanency Coordinator, Intensive Family Intervention Services Worker, In-Home Practitioner, and several supervisor positions.

Applicants should bring multiple copies of an updated resume, three professional references, proof of right to work in the United States (if applicable) and copy of unofficial transcripts for highest level of education achieved. Professional attire is recommended.
