Temporary interruption to NMDWS website while undergoing upgrade
Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims Online System Available

(Albuquerque) - The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) is pleased to announce the launch of a completely new interactive website to better serve our constituents. The current website, www.dws.state.nm.us, will be unavailable starting at 6am on Friday, August 16, 2019 as the website is converted to the new format, returning to service on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at noon. The Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System (www.jobs.state.nm.us) will remain available to employers and claimants. Customer Service Agents in the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center will also be available on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The updated website will feature easy navigation, a clean interface, and the ability to promptly find information from the improved search bar. Additional site enhancements include easy to find links off the homepage allowing users to directly connect into the most accessed pages including job seeking services, unemployment insurance information, and wage and hour.

“The upgrade to the agency website was needed, not just to make it more visually pleasing, but to allow for the individuals and businesses we serve to find the information they need quickly and presented to them in a streamlined way," said Secretary Bill McCamley. "I'm pleased to say that our agency is working hard to create new Apprentice Pathway Programs in a wide range of industries, and the updated website does a great job at featuring those opportunities."

NMDWS will continue to make improvements to the new intuitive and mobile-friendly site and will continue to update content in the coming weeks.
