All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions announced yesterday the launch of the first-of-its kind Rural Education-Workforce Collaborative, a $400,000 statewide initiative connecting early education and P-12 instruction in rural school districts with workforce development opportunities to prepare students for high-demand careers.

Ten new graduates signed with the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) upon completing the first Industry Credential Pipeline Program, a workforce partnership between NMDOT, the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS), and in partnership with CNM Ingenuity, during a special signing ceremony held on Oct. 31.

All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closing at noon, 12:00 p.m., on Friday, October 10 for seasonal observance and closed on Monday, October 13, in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day.

Be Pro Be Proud New Mexico will feature its mobile workshop at the Heavy Equipment Rodeo, hosted by the Associated General Contractors of New Mexico and the Construction Industry Education Foundation, at Expo New Mexico on Friday, Oct. 3, giving students a hands-on opportunity to explore skilled trades through simulators and interactive activities.
