Funding part of statewide push to expand attainable housing, reduce homelessness
Las Cruces and Doña Ana County will receive $11 million for housing initiatives as part of a $120 million statewide investment announced by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham.
Doña Ana County residents may now apply for federal disaster unemployment assistance after the county was added to New Mexico’s major disaster declaration for June 23 storms, flooding and landslides.
The rule is being added to define regulations necessary for the application of prevailing wage rates for laborers and mechanics employed under the auspices of a local government through the issuance of an industrial revenue bond, including procedures for the predetermination of wages, the adoption of job classification descriptions, and the adoption of procedures for the enforcement of the Public Works Minimum Wage Act (PWMWA), and in conformity with the Public Works Apprenticeship and Training Act (PWAT).
