Notice is hereby given that the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions will now accept comments on the proposed draft for the PY 2020 Agricultural Outreach Plan through February 16, 2020. The draft plan can be found on the department’s website at www.dws.state.nm.us.

– All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ (NMDWS) offices, including the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Operations Center, will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2020 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The department urges claimants to plan accordingly.

On Friday January 17, 2020 from 11am – 3pm three state agencies will be providing services for the homeless at the New Mexico State Library located at 12096 Camino Carlos Rey, Santa Fe, NM 87507. Taxation and Revenue’s Motor Vehicle Division’s Mobile Unit will assist individuals obtain a Driver’s License or ID, Department of Health will provide birth certificates and flu shots, and the Department of Workforce Solutions will assist in job search services.  

(Santa Fe, NM) – Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s Administration responded to employment and energy concerns regarding the news of Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association shutting down electric operations at the Escalante Generating Station in Prewitt, New Mexico.

The Administrative Law Judge on behalf of the Human Rights Commission will hold a hearing on January 13, 2020, in Springer, New Mexico at Springer City Hall, 606 Colbvert Ave, Springer, New Mexico 87747, beginning at 9:00 AM.
