The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) Unemployment Insurance online services, which provide a fast, convenient, and secure way for claimants and employers to access information, apply for benefits, and manage accounts, are now available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, apart from scheduled monthly maintenance. 

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) advises employers and workers that New Mexico’s minimum wage is increasing, effective tomorrow, January 1^st, 2020. This increase is in accordance with an amendment to the New Mexico Minimum Wage Act signed into law by Governor Lujan Grisham on April 1, 2019.

(Taos, NM) – Today, December 11, 2019, the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) signed an agreement with the U.S. Forest Service in Taos to provide a career pathway program for participants in the Rocky Mountain Youth Corps (RMYC).

(Albuquerque, NM) – December 9, 2019— Roughly 600 people convened at Los Lunas High School Saturday, December 7, 2019 for the first-ever New Mexico Governor’s STEM Challenge, a competition testing students’ ability to use science, technology, engineering, and math to solve real-world problems.
