The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) is currently in the process of updating the Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System (www.jobs.state.nm.us) to be fully available in Spanish. Claimants who indicate Spanish as their preferred language will start to see system features, including filing an initial claim, available in Spanish starting September 30th .

Online inquiry form now available for individuals filing a charge of discrimination

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) Human Rights Bureau (HRB) has launched a new online initial inquiry form for individuals who have complaints of discrimination and/or harassment in employment, housing, credit, and or public accommodations. The inquiry form located on the NMDWS website (https://www.dws.state.nm.us/Filing-a-Charge-of-Discrimination) is the first step an individual must take if they feel they have been discriminated against based on a protected class.
