Labor and Industrial Commission Meeting

The New Mexico Labor and Industrial Commission will hold a meeting and appeals hearing on December 05, 2022, at 9:00 a.m.

5. Administrative Appeal on the merits in case number LIC 2022-011: ORCO STEEL. v. Kimberly Souders.

The Commission will conduct an evidentiary hearing, including but not limited to opening and closing statements, witness testimony, the introduction of evidentiary exhibits, and hearing legal arguments, on the merits of this appeal in open session. The Commission may also vote on the matter (including taking final action on the case) in open session. However, at any time before, during, or after the hearing, the Commission may vote to enter into closed session pursuant to NMSA 1978, Section 10-15-1(H)(3), the exception to the Open Meetings Act authorizing closed session for deliberations by a public body in connection with an administrative adjudicatory proceeding.
