Thursday, September 22, 2022 / Categories: Department News Ribbon-cutting ceremony for new Workforce Connection Center location in Raton A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for September 27, 2022 for the grand opening of the Raton New Mexico Workforce Connection Center co-located within the Human Services Department (HSD) building.“I’m happy to announce that we have returned to the Raton community to provide in-person services to employers and folks who have lost their jobs or are looking for jobs,” said Department of Workforce Solutions Secretary Sarita Nair. “Being co-located with the Human Services Department allows us to serve the public in a convenient location and deliver essential services that benefit everyone in the area.”The event will be attended by the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) Secretary Sarita Nair who will be joined by Raton Mayor Neil Segotta Jr., Municipal and County officials, Raton Ambassadors, and Joseph Weathers, Chair of the Northern Area Workforce Development Board.“We welcome New Mexico Workforce Connection to our building,” said HSD Secretary David R.
