Federal Government Internships
Federal Government Pathways Program
The Pathways Programs offer clear paths to Federal internships for students from high school through post-graduate school and to careers for recent graduates, and provide meaningful training and career development opportunities for individuals who are at the beginning of their Federal service.
There are 3 different programs to choose from:

- Presidential Management Fellows Program
U.S. Department of Energy
Community Colleges Internships (CCI) Program — Fall & Spring Semester Internships
New Mexico's congressional delegation includes 3 members of the U.S. House of Representatives and 2 members of the U.S. Senate. All have offices in both New Mexico and in Washington, DC, and offer internships. If you are interested in Congress and government, this is a great place to start!
Washington, DC— Offers internships in conjunction with each session: Summer, Fall and Spring. New Mexico: Internships offered on a rolling basis.
Sandia National Labs
Sandia offers several types of internships all throughout the year with various deadlines.
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL)
LANL offers internships throughout the year with an annual deadline of Feb 28th.

Many universities and colleges offer their own internal internships. If you are a student it pays off to check-in with your school about how to apply for these opportunities. Internships can be affiliated with specific departments or schools within your university or college.
