Director Apprenticeship Program

Directors are responsible for the creative vision of a project. They work closely with producers, screenwriters, and actors to interpret scripts, guide performances, and oversee all creative aspects of production. Directors make crucial decisions on shot composition, camera angles, lighting, and pacing, ensuring that the final product aligns with the intended vision. They must also coordinate with various departments, including cinematography, production design, and sound, to create a cohesive and compelling film or television episode.

Who Can Be an Actor?

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older. 
• Applicants must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program, with or without reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or others.
