Early Childhood Educator(Birth to Age 5) Apprenticeship Program
Early childhood educators work in a variety of settings in community programs and public schools. They are responsible for providing an engaging and high-quality learning environment for children ages 0–5 years old.
Early childhood educators provide care and education through play-based instruction, early literacy and numeracy activities, building social-emotional connections, and actively engaging families in a whole-child approach to learning. They develop curricula and lesson plans designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in young children.
