Who Can Be a Millwright?
Must be at least 18 years of age or older to apply and possess a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program (standing, bending, walking, lifting, balancing, climbing ladders and scaffolding, carrying tools and equipment, etc.) and have a strong mathematics understanding. Involves working at all height levels and may have exposure to various weather conditions (heat and cold). Must have documentation verifying legal residence and employability. May be required to pass background check for employment on particular job sites. Out of town travel will be required, and possibly out of state travel.
