Producer Apprenticeship Program

Producers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of a production, from development through post-production. This includes managing budgets, securing financing, hiring key personnel, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring that the project stays on track and within budget. Producers work closely with directors, writers, and other production staff to bring a creative vision to life, guiding the project through its various phases and ensuring a successful completion.

Who Can Be a Producer?

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Applicants must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program, with or without reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or others.
