Operations Center, will be closed Monday, January 19, 2015 in observance of
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The department urges claimants to plan
accordingly. Individuals can apply for Unemployment Insurance (UI), certify for
their weekly claim, and check their claim status by logging in at www.jobs.state.nm.us, Sunday through
Friday from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Operations Center will resume normal hours on
Tuesday, January 20, and individuals can contact a Customer Service Agent in
the NMDWS UI Operations Center at 1-877-664-6984 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30
p.m.

Santa Fe — Today Governor
Susana Martinez announced that New Mexico has been recognized for outstanding
achievement for the Unemployment Insurance Tax and Claims System. The National
Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) has awarded New Mexico
a 2014 Outstanding Information Technology Achievement Award in Digital
Government, recognizing the Department of Workforce Solutions’ (DWS)
fully-integrated tax and claims system. New Mexico is the first state in the
nation to integrate and launch both the tax and claims systems simultaneously.
