The Serve New Mexico Commission, in partnership with Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico, will celebrate the life and legacy of civil rights activist César Chávez with a Day of Service on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.  

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) has become aware of multiple attempts by fraudsters to obtain individuals’ personal and confidential information through fake Facebook pages and is reminding New Mexicans to never provide their information to anyone over social media.  

New Mexico Workforce Connection centers will open again statewide the week of March 22, 2021. Physical access will be restricted to appointments only, however services will continue to be provided via phone, email, and through the New Mexico Workforce Connection Online System (www.jobs.state.nm.us).

Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, sending the relief bill to President Biden to sign. This legislation is in response to the continued health and economic issues caused by COVID-19 and provides an extension of federal unemployment programs through the week ending September 4, 2021.

Human Rights Commission will convene at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. 

Starting the week of March 22, 2021, the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) will send out important information on how to request a waiver for claimants who received an overpayment through no fault of their own as part of the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program.

The Human Rights Commission will hold a virtual remote hearing on March 9, 2021.  Hearing will be held on Zoom virtual platform, beginning at 9:00 AM.
