Unemployment Insurance Operations Center Closed Monday

(Albuquerque) – All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Operations Center, will be closed Monday, September 1, 2014 in observance of Labor Day. The department urges claimants to plan accordingly.

The online UI Tax & Claims System is available Sunday through Friday from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Individuals can go directly to www.jobs.state.nm.us

First “Ready to Work” Event Friday, August 22, 2014

(Albuquerque, NM) – The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions has partnered with the City of Albuquerque, the New Mexico Human Services Department, New Mexico Workforce Connection, Innovate Educate, Wells Fargo, and Old Navy to present the first “New Mexico Ready to Work” event on Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Albuquerque Convention Center from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Unemployment Insurance Hearing Notice

New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions

 

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (“Department”) hereby gives notice that the Department will conduct a public hearing in the auditorium of the State Personnel Office located at 2600 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico on September 19, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. The purpose of the public hearing will be to obtain input on the amendments to 11.3.400 NMAC.

 

Interested individuals may testify at the public hearing or submit written comments to State of New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, 401 Broadway NE, P.O. Box 1928, Albuquerque, N.M., 87103, Attention Attorney Rudolph Arnold.   Written comments must be received no later than 5 p.m. on September 19, 2014.  However, the submission of written comments as soon as possible is encouraged.   

 

Copies of the proposed rule for repeal and the proposed rule for adoption may be accessed on the Department’s website http://www.dws.state.nm.us or obtained from Attorney Rudolph Arnold Tel.: (505) 841-8672 rudolph.arnold@state.nm.us.  The proposed amendments to the rule will be made available at least thirty days prior to the hearings.
