How will I know if the department received my social security card and driver’s license if I faxed them in? If you faxed or emailed your proof of identity in, we received it. We take fraud seriously and have dedicated staff who review each identity verification issue individually, as this process cannot be automated. We appreciate your patience as we work to verify identities as quickly as possible.
How will I know if I qualify if my account has been on hold for several weeks? If your account is on hold or has a pending issue, continue to complete your weekly certifications and look for any correspondence that may be sent to your “View Correspondence” or “My Inbox” on your online account. If you are approved for benefits, you will receive a lump sum payment for all weeks you were eligible and certified for.
What if I need clarification on my 1099? The amount is far more than total calculated and more than I’ve received. Please be advised that your 1099G includes payments that you may have received in 2020 including your weekly benefit amount, Lost Wages Assistance (LWA), Worker Pandemic Benefit (WPB), and the $600/week FPUC under the CARES Act.
I need to dispute or see my transactions on my debit card. NMDWS staff do not have any access to the debit card accounts. Please contact Way2Go Card Customer Service toll free number at 1-844-309-5657. Customer Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may also log in to the Way2Go Card website at https://www.goprogram.com/ to manage your debit card account.
I cannot enter a PIN or activate my debit card when I call the New Mexico Debit Card Customer Service Center, it just hangs up on me. Your date of birth may not have been entered correctly on your claim. Please contact the Department to have this updated by calling 1-877-664-6984.
