Unemployment Insurance Operations Center Closed Thursday and Friday

(Albuquerque) – All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The department urges claimants to plan accordingly.

(Albuquerque) – All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Friday, November 10 in observation of Veterans Day. The department urges claimants to plan accordingly.

If your employment has been affected by the South Fork or Salt fires, you may file a standard Unemployment Insurance claim. This is the first step in the Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) process, either online at www.jobs.state.nm.us or by phone at 1-877-664-6984 Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Human Rights Commission Meeting

The Human Rights Commission will hold its annual meeting in Albuquerque, NM at the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, Tiwa Building, 401 Broadway Blvd., NE beginning at 9:30 am on November 7, 2017.

If you are an individual with a disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, certified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid, or service, to attend or participate in the hearing, please contact the Human Rights Bureau, Lori Vasquez at (505)827-5355 at least one week prior to the hearing.
