Notice of Rulemaking Hearing

The Department will conduct a public hearing to receive public comments regarding proposed amendments to NMAC 11.3.300 (Employment Security – Claims Administration) in the Leo Griego Auditorium located in the State Personnel Office (Willie Ortiz Building) at 2600 Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87505 on October 30, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

New Mexico's Unemployment Rate was 4.1% in August 2024

New Mexico’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.1 percent in August, up from 4.0 percent in July and up from 3.8 percent in the previous year. Total nonagricultural payroll employment grew by 12,500 jobs, or 1.4 percent, between August 2023 and August 2024.
