State of New Mexico Homeless Services Event at New Mexico State Library

On Friday January 17, 2020 from 11am – 3pm three state agencies will be providing services for the homeless at the New Mexico State Library located at 12096 Camino Carlos Rey, Santa Fe, NM 87507. Taxation and Revenue’s Motor Vehicle Division’s Mobile Unit will assist individuals obtain a Driver’s License or ID, Department of Health will provide birth certificates and flu shots, and the Department of Workforce Solutions will assist in job search services.  

Human Rights Commission Hearing

The Administrative Law Judge on behalf of the Human Rights Commission will hold a hearing on January 13, 2020, in Springer, New Mexico at Springer City Hall, 606 Colbvert Ave, Springer, New Mexico 87747, beginning at 9:00 AM. 

 

New Mexico Minimum Wage Increase goes into effect tomorrow, January 1, 2020

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) advises employers and workers that New Mexico’s minimum wage is increasing, effective tomorrow, January 1st, 2020. This increase is in accordance with an amendment to the New Mexico Minimum Wage Act signed into law by Governor Lujan Grisham on April 1, 2019.
