Unemployment Insurance Operations Center and UI Online System Unavailable Over Veterans Day Holiday  

customer service agents and the online system available by noon on November 12th

 

(Albuquerque) – The Unemployment Insurance Operations Center and the online Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System will be unavailable on Wednesday, November 11th through noon on Thursday, November 12th for scheduled maintenance and upgrades. In order to reduce the inconvenience to our customers, the system upgrade has been scheduled over the Veterans Day state holiday on Wednesday, November 11th, during which all New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed.

 

The department encourages individuals to file a claim or certify for benefits by 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. The Unemployment Insurance Operations Center and the online Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System will again be available at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12th.

 

The normal business hours of the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The online Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System is available to employers at www.dws.state.nm.us and individuals applying and certifying for benefits at www.jobs.state.nm.us, Sunday through Friday from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
