Over $30K in wages collected for public works project employees from NMDWS audit (Albuquerque, NM) – The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ (NMDWS) Labor Relations Division received several wage claims from workers who were not paid their total wages for hours worked by Blue Mountain Contractors. The Albuquerque based company was hired by Fort Sumner Schools to construct a new concessions building in 2018 under a public works project. The audit of certified payrolls revealed $30,309.93 in wages and fringe owed to six employees, as well as $1,742.34 for the Apprenticeship and Training Fund.
