Lost Wages Assistance program ends for New Mexico claimants

Regular weekly unemployment insurance benefits to continue

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) was notified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) that the last week for the Lost Wages Assistance (LWA) benefits program was September 5, 2020 due to the fund’s depletion. As a result of this announcement, NMDWS cannot extend LWA payments beyond that date.  

Human Rights Commission Hearing

The Administrative Law Judge on behalf of the Human Rights Commission will hold a hearing on September 23 & 24, 2020, in Santa Fe, New Mexico at the Human Rights Conference Room, 1596 Pacheco Street, Suite 103, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505, beginning at 9:00 AM.
