Why was this letter sent to me?

This letter was sent to you because you did not submit your quarterly wage report for the most recently completed quarter.

What does this letter mean?

This letter means that your Employer and Wage Detail Report for the quarter listed in the letter is due. You should file a report even if you had no employees or paid no wages during that quarter. Interest will continue to accrue until you make the payment.

What do I do next?

You should log in to your account online to at www.dws.state.nm.us to file your Employer and Wage Detail Report. If you do not file within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice, the department may generate and apply an estimation of your wages. That estimation, according to department regulations, will be 150% of the highest quarter in the past eight quarters reported by you.

You can also contact a Customer Service Agent in the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center at 1-877-664-6984, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
