The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Fe / Del Norte  program includes AmeriCorps members building good decision making and resistance skills for youth and teens in northern New Mexican schools and Boys & Girls Clubs sites. These AmeriCorps members are responsible for improving resistance skills, increasing academic success, social-emotional skills, strengthening relationships, and avoiding risky behaviors for youth and teens. AmeriCorps members also leverage volunteers from the local business community to provide mentorship and workforce readiness at the Boys & Girls Clubs. Their Power Hour homework help and tutoring program keeps youth and teens aged between 6 through 18 years on track with assignments at school.
