Serve New Mexico Competitive Request for Applications 2022-2023
Grant Application ID: 22AC240527 • Grant ID: 21ACDNM001
On October 15, 2021, the Serve New Mexico Commission (previously the New Mexico Commission for Community Volunteerism) released its Request for Applications (RFA: #22-631-7004-00073) based on the Corporation for National and Community Service’s Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the 2022-2023 Program Year.
The 2022 “Competitive” competition will target AmeriCorps grant making on the six national focus areas identified in the Serve America Act and the agency's five-year Strategic Plan: disaster services, economic opportunity, education, environmental stewardship, healthy futures, and veterans and military families. In order to maximize the impact of public investment in national service, the Commission seeks to fund programs that can demonstrate community impact and solve community problems using an evidence-based or evidence-informed approach.
The Commission’s application and review process is designed to identify responsive applications and make funding recommendations to the Serve New Mexico Commission.
